Another Saturday Morning
Another Saturday Morning
With Leaden heart, the sun doth rise
To burn apart these mortal ties
And ease the sleep from young love's eyes
Alas, it must be so
It might have been the robin's cry
That seemed with grief to justify
What two young souls could not deny
For Sepr'ate they must go
And maybe in that parting gaze
Were thoughts that seemed to last for days
Until one word dispersed the haze
She whispered to him "go"
